Good to have that back and working again.

For the time being, I have it working on both WINS and D'Bridge.

I need to email Eli and let him know what is causing the issues with
WINS/NEWS on the WWIVnet updates.

Either way, D'bridge (which uses vsoup) is very fast at downloading. I
still have to use WWIVTOSS to convert them from FTN to WWIV, but it is
just like any other message area.

Have you ever come across the issue I've been having with the news.rc file
getting corrupted such that all newsgroups obtain the high message from a
group higher up in the list?

Each time this has happened to me, if the previous group high message mark is
a lot lower than another ng in the list, the other ng's end up downloading
years of messages.

I have not had that happen, but I only have (2) newsgroups setup. I have had
the NEWS.RC file get corrupted where it just is empty. Not sure how that
happened, but I have a backup of the file if that happens.

vSoup in D'Bridge is leaps and bounds faster for downloading and posting
messages. There is no comparison when it comes to speed.
